Shiji Group Opens New Office in India and appointed Country Head for the Market

Shiji Group is thrilled to announce the appointment of Mr. Arup Banik as the Country Head of Shiji India in Delhi to oversee all Shiji operations in the India office.

Before joining Shiji Group, Mr. Banik was with EIH Ltd. owned Oberoi Hotels & Resorts in corporate IT and strategic roles since 2002. As the Deputy Vice President of Corporate IT for EIH Ltd., Mr. Banik was responsible for the overall IT operations for the company and acted as an IT decision maker and strategic planner, Prior to his experience with EIH, he worked with the Indian hotels Company Limited owned Taj Group in Information Systems, as well as Galaxy Toyota in Manager Systems for IT infrastructures and Systems Integration.

Mr. Banik brings his extensive management expertise of best practices in IT Service management, Risk & IT Compliance management, and data security to Shiji Group and will focus on growing the business of Shiji throughout India.
