DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, October 28, 2021 – Shiji has announced that the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) has recently gone live with its enterprise-level Infrasys Cloud POS solution, in addition to its leading payment interface, Shiji Payment Solutions
Dubai World Trade Centre, the Middle East’s leading event venue and mixed-use complex, houses retail stores, dining outlets, and several hotels, most of which have now been migrated from a legacy POS to Shiji’s Infrasys Cloud POS and Payment Solutions.
With over a decade in the payments industry, Shiji Payment Solutions has been providing cutting-edge scalable and secure payment solutions to businesses around the world. With open integrations to many forward-thinking payment processors and connectivity to Infrasys Cloud POS, DWTC can now provide its end users with the convenience of easy accessibility to a seamless payment platform.
“We are excited to partner with Shiji Group to deploy their Shiji Payment Solutions and Infrasys Cloud POS across the Trade Centre District, at not only Dubai World Trade Centre, but also the Dubai Exhibition Center at the Expo 2020 site. With the successful launch of the Shiji platforms, we were able to provide a superior experience to our guests and visitors, leveraging the products’ intuitive user interfaces and personalized guest experiences with features like multilingual checks and contactless payment solutions. Our overall transaction time has reduced considerably since going live with Shiji’s solutions and we look forward to continuing our partnership with them in the future,” said Muhammad Asif Galsulkar, Director Enterprise Applications of Dubai World Trade Centre.
“The entire implementation and subsequent roll-outs across our two main sites hosting multiple outlets, mobile counters, kiosks and more, were very well planned and executed. Additionally, the process of switching from a legacy POS to Shiji’s platforms went flawlessly well,” said Mazen Hmaidan, Project Manager of Dubai World Trade Centre.
“We are thrilled to provide the world-renowned Dubai World Trade Centre with our well-connected, cloud-based payment solutions. With multiple types of event, retail, dining, and accommodation outlets, we are happy to provide our enterprise-level and scalable payment solutions to span across all divisions within the multi-complex property. This partnership showcases our ability to provide various products and services to a venue with such diverse offerings and we look forward to continuing to provide our technology solutions to more and more businesses like Dubai World Trade Centre,” said Kevin King, Chief Operating Officer of Shiji.
